Account Executive - Job Description

As a Tigera Sales Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of sales excellence through impressive pipeline growth, outbound prospecting, ruthless qualification, innovation and consistent hard work. Experience selling enterprise Application Infrastructure software to Dev & IT teams is required.

What you will do

  • Work on incoming leads, qualify opportunities & build a pipeline
  • Identify stakeholders, map out decision making process & build account plans
  • Leverage resources across Tigera to effectively execute account plan
  • Actively manage and nurture your pipeline
  • Provide feedback to product & marketing teams
  • Blow past your sales targets and have fun doing it


About you

  • 10+ years as an Enterprise Software Sales rep
  • 2+ years in a Software start-up
  • Experience in selling Application Infrastructure Software to Dev & IT teams
  • A consistent track record of exceeding quota
  • Value based sales approach
  • A disciplined approach to sales
  • Experience negotiating with procurement teams
  • Experience in closing $200K + deals
